Photo – Not Quite Coffee

Why do we love coffee so much? I’m more of a “froufrou” coffee drinker. Give me a mocha frappe any day! For me the coffee adds a layer of flavor to the chocolatey goodness. A little kick and bite. Yum!

Some people can do things, like selling or dancing, and it looks so easy! What is their secret? How do they do it? And you know, they probably can’t even tell you. Not because it is a secret but because they don’t even have to think about it – and my not even realize they are doing something that no one else does.
Next best thing? Watch them like a hawk and do exactly what they do until you can do it without having to think about it. Imitation is the highest form of flatter and the best way to learning how they do it.

Photo – Your Roots Are Showing

We all want to fit in and yet be our own special person. So confusing! Perhaps it would be better to say there are times when we want to fit in and other times when we want to be our own person. The trick is balancing the two so that YOU are at your best.

I’d never seen a silk tree until I was 8 years old when my family moved to Tennessee. The scent is delicious! They spring up along the side of the road or in places that are “growed up” as they say here. They are still so fascinating to me! I planted one in my yard.

Why not get some company to share my photos with? (Hint, hint. There are share buttons below and to your left.) Thanks so much!

Another tiny flower that you may not have noticed. That’s one of the things I love about the camera is being able to show larger-than-life photos of very small parts of nature.
